BIO

After graduating with a degree in electrical engineering in 1991, Fedge (Jeff Elliott) sought to combine his love for music with his aptitude for logic and problem solving.  This led him to a diploma in recording technology in 1993 and a position at Reaction Studios, one of Toronto's leading recording facilities, from 1993-2005.  During the heyday of Reaction Studios, Fedge had the opportunity to work with such notable artists as The Barenaked Ladies, Rush, Kathleen Edwards, Sum 41, Blue Rodeo, Molly Johnson, Bruce Cockburn, Jane Bunnett, Rheostatics and Sarah Harmer.  Fedge was assistant engineer on countless major Canadian recordings, engineered many independent projects, and mastered hundreds of albums during these years.

With the closing of Reaction Studios at the end of 2005, Fedge took his vast technical experience in making records to open his own mastering studio in early 2006.  Although his main focus is album mastering, Fedge is also a freelance recording and mixing engineer for projects on location and in studios across Toronto.  Today Fedge is considered one of Toronto's leading mastering engineers for creative music.
